Tsuji
Languages, typed message families, per-language catalogues, ICU MessageFormat 2.0 and locale-aware number and date formatting. JVM and Scala.js. Formerly taihei-i18n, whose 4.x line still receives security fixes.
Prosperity through clarity. 天下泰平
Open-source Scala 3 libraries for the JVM and Scala.js. Small, typed, and built on clear rules, so that what you build on them can grow without surprises.
The Edo peace
From 1603 to 1868 Japan lived in peace under the Tokugawa shogunate. That peace rested on order: written rules for every domain, land surveyed and divided down to the plot, and everyone knowing where they stood. Within that order Edo, today's Tokyo, grew into one of the largest cities in the world.
We build software the same way. Clear rules, checked by the compiler rather than discovered in production, so that everything built on them can grow in peace. The Japanese still call that era 天下泰平, tenka taihei: great peace under heaven.
Libraries
Every library is published to Maven Central under dev.taihei, cross-built for the JVM and Scala.js where it makes sense, and builds from a fresh clone with nothing but Mill and a JDK.
Languages, typed message families, per-language catalogues, ICU MessageFormat 2.0 and locale-aware number and date formatting. JVM and Scala.js. Formerly taihei-i18n, whose 4.x line still receives security fixes.
Fake data for tests, seed data and mock-ups: filler text, names, addresses, dates, files, ids and sample images. JVM and Scala.js.
The family grows one library at a time, each one released when it meets the same rules: typed, tested on every platform, and documented.
The rules
Built on the Taihei Framework
Machiwari, the dividing of Edo into streets and plots, is Innovenso's enterprise architecture product. Model an architecture once, and draw its diagrams, registers and TOGAF dossier from that one model.
